Love!

I love you God
Your goodness is beyond comprehension
As I recall our walk together
I am filled with wonder

I could feel such guilt
At the level of my inattention
Yet when I turn to you
All that fades in the light of your presence

Your presence. such a precious thing
So close
The turning of a thought
Attending to my heart

A friend
My comforter
Companion when I can
My heart and mind attend.
