How I deploy it
Determines all things

It’s up to me
The boundaries I set
The choices I make
Influence I let

So how do I know
The virtuous path
To be most productive
To make myself laugh

So how do I know
The values to take
To have as the guidelines
My history to make

Who's accountable for your purpose in life?

What is the purpose of life
It can’t be for bitterness and strife
If I believe there is a greater one
There must be something to be done

Does it happen to me
Like the growth of a tree
Or is it up me
To make myself be

Am I the captain
Of the pre-ordained plan
Or do I work to be me
Till the planner shows his hand

Are you driven by work
Are you driven by fear
Look deep inside
What drives you from here

Must you be known
Must you be remembered
Will you leave an inheritance
For those you intended?

How much do I influence my life?

God is Lord of all
So all there is he did allow
Whatever is before my face
It must be in his plan of grace

Yet what I face each day
Relates to what I say. . .
And think . . .
And choose . . .
-- my way
The principles are his

The choices that I make
Influence what I break
But also what goes well
Earthly heaven and not hell

Yet wired from the start
Does in major way impart
Just what I choose to do
Even what I see as true

So trust the holy hand
That the plan is really grand
Give thanks along the way
With excitement greet each day
