This morning as I dwell
On the goodness of my God
His presence is so near
No fear he’ll use the rod
Each day upon the earth
I’ve had a biased view
He’s been so good to me
How can it all be true
Be thankful precious soul
Bless God with all your might
Attribute good to him
Expect a shining light
Expect to walk in peace
Free from hurt and pain
Magnify the good
He wishes for your gain
Do not be confused
The pain is from the curse
It is the wish of heaven
In peace you may traverse
Jesus paid the price
He did it all for us
Can we just believe
Without making such a fuss
